A seguito di una prima anticipazione, ARC ha ufficialmente presentato la R11 touring.
Sulla base dell’esperienza fatta con la precedente R10 2015, la R11 presenta alcuni sottili cambiamenti e al fine di aumentare ulteriormente le prestazioni, guidabilità e facilità di manutenzione.
La macchina è basata su un telaio di 86 millimetri in fibra di carbonio ampio 4mm, più ampia di quella del R10 per avere per caratteristiche di flessibilità leggermente più rigide.
Per ottenere una distribuzione del peso più centrato il motore si trova 4 millimetri più vicino alla linea centrale rispetto al modello precedente.
Per centralizzare ulteriormente il peso della R11 sport, le nuove paratie che si trovano ad un totale di 2 mm più vicino alla linea centrale e le torri delle sospensioni sono state abbassate e sono ora collegati da due sole viti.
Eliminando due viti si aggiunge anche un po ‘ di flessione nella zona della paratia in modo da contribuire a generare più grip.

Following a first teaser ARC have now officially introduced the R11 1/10th scale 4WD touring car. Based on the experience made with the predecessor R10 2015, the R11 features some subtle changes and revisions in order to further boost performance, drivability and ease of maintenance. The car is based on a 86mm wide carbon fibre chassis that is 4mm wider than the one of the R10 to make for slightly stiffer flex characteristics and improved consistency. To achieve a more centred weight distribution the motor sits 4mm closer to the centre line compared to the previous model. To further centralise the weight the R11 sports new bulkheads that sit a total of 2mm closer to the centre line and the shock towers have been lowered and are now attached by only two screws. Doing away with two fasteners also adds a bit of flex to the bulkhead area in order to help generate more overall grip.
